Nothing sparks more joy than hopping on an international flight. A few weeks ago I took a trip to Finland with Finn Air to kick off their new direct flight from LAX to Helsinki. It was my first time visiting the country and it did not disappoint. There is something so special about Finland, maybe it’s their deep appreciation of nature, affinity for saunas or commitment to sustainability. Either way, I was in love.

The first leg of the trip we spent exploring Helsinki, Finland’s capitol. The city is small and slow paced but offer’s everything you’d expect from a major metropolitan destination. Like most Nordic cities—everything in Helsinki is clean, efficient and done with intention. The beginning of the summer season meant the sun stays up until 10:00pm which meant that rooftop drinks at Löyly, a modern seaside sauna, were a no brainer.

After our time in Helsinki we took a road trip down south to Hanko, a quaint seaside village that closely resembled the Hamptons. This was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip as we got to spend a lot of time outdoors. From bike rides through the forest to kayaking through the Baltic Sea—it was something i’ll never forget.

NEW CRIB, WHO DIS?

If you follow me on social, then you probably already know I MOVED! Sara and I traded our humble little home in Hollywood for a big boy & girl space in West Hollywood. The ceilings are high, the neighborhood is littered with cute boutiques and cafes and I live so close to Erewhon I could cry. I’m really excited for this next chapter, but there is a special place in hell for moving day.

Switching spaces is a big deal for me. This is only my second time moving and I wasn’t expecting the process to take such a toll on me. Having a stable home base is necessary for my sanity. My routine has been totally out of wack the last few weeks and for lack of a better term I feel, frazzled.

Piece of mind is priceless and I decided to work with NorthStar Moving to make the process more manageable. While I expected the move to be somewhat easier with their help, Sara and I were both FLOORED with the service NorthStar Moving provided. Not only were they professional, thorough and careful with our belongings—they literally told us to sit down and let them handle everything. Any odds & ends that weren’t already packed—they packaged. Sara’s bed? Taken apart and loaded onto the truck in minutes.

Another feature I really appreciated was the video call prior to our move. While most companies give you a generic flat rate, NorthStar Moving schedules a video conference call to asses your space prior to the move. This allows them to give you an accurate quote so you don’t end up with any surprise charges day of.

Believe me, I would not be sitting here writing this glowing review if they weren’t a gift sent straight from the heavens. NorthStar Moving services Los Angeles & San Francisco, so if you’re in need of honest and reliable movers—stop what you’re doing and give them a call NOW.

When you’re born and raised in Los Angeles, the celebrity culture of the Sundance Film Festival is on your radar from a very young age. This year I was lucky enough to attend with Dell. Each year Dell takes over Main street to create the Dell Den, an immersive space that hosts several panels and showcases the latest in Dell’s top of the line of desktop computers & laptops.

Over the course of three days we got to experience the new Dell XPS 13 laptop. I’ll be very frank with you when I say, upon return to Los Angeles I listed my macbook on craigslist and treated myself to a nice dinner to celebrate my exit from the world of Apple. The Dell XPS 13 is the most powerful laptop in it’s class. It’s incredibly compact and lightweight, making it a god send when traveling. The UltraSharp InfinityEdge touch display makes photo editing on Lightroom & Photoshop a breeze and the 1TB storage is more than enough space for anyone in the creative space.

I’m currently in Japan writing this post on my Dell & I find myself wondering why it took me so long to make the switch. If you guys have any questions about the Dell XPS 13 please please please feel free to DM me on insty or shoot me an email.

Until next time x

If you’ve been following me for a while, it’s no secret that Tulum holds a very special place in my heart. It’s where I go to recharge and get away from the routine hustle and bustle of LA.

Although this was my 10th visit, Tulum is in a constant state of development. Every time I come back, there’s something new to do and a dozen new restaurants and hotels that have popped up. During my latest trip, I was connected with Eva Red, the visionary behind Tulum Wellness Concierge. Think of her as your eyes and ears on the ground in Tulum. From airport transfers, hotel & air bnb accommodations and nanny services—to getting you behind the velvet rope at some of Tulum’s most coveted restaurants and nightlife destinations, theres’s nothing she can’t do. If time is our generation’s greatest luxury—it’s a good thing she’s open year around.

If you’re visiting Tulum for the first time, or heading back to bask in the riviera’s sun—I highly suggest you utilize Tulum Wellness Concierge’s services.
