THE GIFT KEEP THAT KEEPS GIVING: LA FASHION DIGITAL 2014

I turned 24 today and have spent a majority of my birthday reflecting on where i've been and where i'm going. 23 was very good to me primarily because of this blog! It has expanded from a silly personal style blog  to a full fledge lifestyle website that covers mens fashion, travel, food and nightlife. I owe a lot the internet/ digital space and am always hungry to absorb information pertaining to it.

For my birthday this year my boss, Cheyann Benedict, presented me with two tickets to the Fashion Digital Los Angeles Conference. There is no gift better than an education! The team at LAFD did a superior job selecting their speakers and keynote topics to ensure that attendee's received digital marketing insight across the board. From social engagement to customer acquisition and retention strategies, I left the conference today feeling so inspired ! I can't wait to see what the future has in store. In the mean time--i'm going to party like it's my birthday. xo

Golden Hour

Took yet, another trip to Palm Springs last week to do serious shopping at the newly expanded Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Stuck to my usual M.O of tees, denim and leather--so easy and no tricks. I played up the cartoon graphic on the t-shirt with the printed Comme De Garcons high tops and threw in a little distressed denim to keep it real. 

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pull off the road on the way back to LA for some quick snaps during golden hour! Enjoy x

Mstr watches x B: Scott

MSTR Watches celebrated it's collaboration with L.A.-based designer B:SCOTT last week on a limited edition B:SCOTT x MSTR capsule collection. The event was held at the B:SCOTT flagship in Downtown LA and brought out an eclectic crowd that ranged from la urbanites to uptown tastemakers.

Their co-designed Aviator Chronograph watch featured B:SCOTT’s signature camouflage print on the dial face, and is being sold with a matching cut and sew T-shirt. 

There has been such a need in the market place for a quality men's timepiece collection and It's very exciting to see Meister begin to fill that void. Stay tuned!

Blue Jean Baby

Denim on denim: wear it correctly and you have yourself an effortless ensemble that exudes cool. Wear it incorrectly and you end up looking like Brittney and Justin circa 2011. The trick is either to either channel the same color or go for a contrast between shades as I did, with the differing washes drawing attention away from the similarity of the fabric.
